This all-season house is ideally located. Activities abound for year-round fun and relaxation. The house is on a dead-end street, nestled among tall pine and birch trees,on a private 3/4 acre lot. 

Loon Lake Is located in the town of Chestertown, in the Adirondack Mountains of New York state.(Exit 25 off of I-87 exit 25)

Activities: Kayaking, Swimming, boating, hiking, skiing, shopping, amusement parks, mountain biking, fishing. Gore Mt. or Lake George Village 20 min. away.

Accommodations: 2 Bedrooms Convertible bed(s) - 1.5 Baths - (Sleeps 5-8)

Features: Two shared private beaches (one directly across the street). 3 min walk to marina for boat rentals. Canoe available.

Second floor: Master bedroom with queen-size bed, 2nd bedroom with double and twin size beds, sofa bed in living room, full kitchen, sliding glass door to walk out deck for dining and relaxation (there's nothing like breakfast on the deck on a nice day!). Drive up to 2nd floor in back for easy loading/unloading.

First floor: Adirondack pine paneling, wall-to-wall carpet, ceiling fans, brand new (2005) queen size hide-a-bed, air hockey table, half bath with washer/dryer, and cable TV/VCR/DVD.

Right Out Your Door: Two private shared beaches on Loon Lake, one directly across the (dead-end) street. Floating swim platforms at both beaches, great swimming. There's a canoe available for your use. It's a 3 minute walk to Loon Lake Marina with boat, water ski, kayak rentals and wakeboard lessons.

Hiking, and horseback riding are just 5 minutes away, as is Dynamite Hill with its free rope tow for skiing and snowboarding, tubing, sledding, and cross country skiing.

Swimming, fishing, boating and water skiing are practically right out your front door.

Chestertown, a quaint Adirondack town with restaurants, antique stores, shops, grocery, drugstore, video rental, and a free library is a 5 minute drive away.

The towns of North Creek and Warrensburg are a 15 minute drive.

Hiking and mountain bike trails, a scenic train ride, horseback riding, and brilliant fall foliage are all within a 5-10 minute drive.

The Great Escape and Water Slide World theme parks 25 minutes away. Golf and white water rafting. Gondola rides & mountain biking are 20 minutes away at Gore Mountain.

Saratoga Springs, with its race track, mineral springs, upscale shops, and performing arts centers, is approximately 30 minutes away.

Gore Mountain, one of New York State's premier ski resorts, is approximately 20 minutes away.

It's a one hour drive to the beautiful Olympic town of Lake Placid, home of Whiteface Mountain ski resort, and the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. The Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake is also an hour away.

Three night minimum stay. Weeks are Saturday-Saturday. Holidays slightly higher.

Summer:  $1000 /week; $140  /additional night

Fall/Winter/Spring:  $800/wk;  $500/3 night minimum stay. ($100 add'l night);  late checkout. 

Winter rates include firewood.
Linens can be prvided at an additional charge.
